Al Bennett was born and raised in Peoria. He has three children ages 10, 13, and 15 who are also being raised in the Peoria area. Al is deeply involved in his children's activities and the surrounding community.

Melissa is a native Texan and has made Peoria her home for the last 20 years. She has been in sales and marketing for over 25 years. She has 3 sons, ages 29, 26, and 11.
